We want to share with you, how you can incorporate the Color of the Year into your wedding!

Pantone states that the color for 2017 is greenery…here is what Leatrice Eiseman says about it:

“Greenery bursts forth into 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.

So, how do you incorporate it into your wedding? Last year, Boutiq Weddings & Events in collaboration with Deevine Petals,Swirl Cakes & Cupcake created an amazing inspirational wedding tableau that was photographed by Sarah Pukin Photography. The photo shoot took place at The Lake House where we created a beautiful table filled with greenery and candles. Our colors were copper and cream with lots and lots of different greens. The variety of candles added a softer touch to the setting. The table was covered with a cream table cloth with a brown runner across it to add some contrast.

Bride’s bouquet without any flowers, just greens and a copper wire holding it together.

As you can probably see that many of the items were DYI…Deevine Petals made all the stationary and the copper wire writing. We also bought some inexpensive cutlery and wrapped it with copper wiring. We painted the accent wine glasses ourselves: really easy to do and very attractive.

We are very proud as this inspirational shoot was published in January 2017 Bridal Fantasy Magazine. Here’s hoping our shoot has given you lots of great ideas.
